I got confused because a lot of the capture cards don't come with that BNC "locking connector" so wasn't sure if those capture cards without the locking mechanism was actually the sameI've seen PCIe cards for £30 and USB as low as £12, I googled "composite video capture" and added PCIe or USB. But agree with old stuff like this it may make sense to get matching older compatible gear
Purely because i was given a brand new BNC dome camera which is ideal for outside the garageIs there a reason for staying with the BNC camera versus replacing it with something like an IP camera? A modern IP camera would be able connect into your home network, likely offer a higher resolution, and your recording PC would only have to record the feed using its normal ethernet connection ( heck, it could even use wireless )
