Bo text in Steam

I installed steam today after a 2 month break from it and it's games.

I got an update but now there is no text what so ever anywhere in steam.

No icon text, menu text, nothing.

Even when I load HL2 or CS:S there is no text in the menues there either :/

Anyone else having this problem?

Anyone know how to fix this?

Check you have the Tahoma font installed - although I can't imagine why you wouldn't have it, unless you've nLited it out or something?

Yup your missing the tahoma font, download it and install.

Thank you, I'll give it a try.

Also do I install it into windows or somewhere into steam?
* Lord give me hardware problems any day :'(*

Into "fonts" in control panel.

You'll probably find you still have the tahoma font in the folder, Steam doesn't mess with them. The likely reason for it not displaying any text is because the font file was corrupt.

I actually didn't have the font file :O

I downloaded it, installed, restarted and poof steam works
