Boaderlands any good?

Thinking about getting Boaderlands as I really love shooter games. Is it any good?

It is good, yes. Lots of people enjoyed it a lot more than I did however, I played it for about ~six hours and got very bored and haven't played since.

It is good, but feels a bit dated compared to stalker and fallout 3 which are also free-roaming shooters.

it is pretty repetive, but gets better the more you play, ive been playing on pc, now nearly lvl 26 and its tough. so far ive clocked about 45hours and im not even half way through.

if you dont like repetitive games, play it in small doses

I've put about 3 days into this game and am sitting on a 46 Siren, 37 Soldier and a 26 Berserker. I haven't found it repetitive at all. It's a good game to play by yourself but truly shines when playing co-op.

Its not very good, its very boring, it has a very low input/reward ratio.

One of the best games I've ever played, I've been playing it solid for weeks now, near the end of playthrough 2 now and I'm gonna play it through again with a diff class after! Defintely worth picking up, 100%!!

It's a slow starter but gets better and better the further in you get. Great game imo.

i have it. if you ever played diablo 2, you will love this. its similar in gameplay, which involves slaughtering herds of bandits for awesome loot (further on in the game) and also doing missions off bounty boards.

I liked it, but you have to realise it is a bit of a no-brainer shoot-em-up.

None the less fun for that though.

I actually found i needed to use tactics very often, work out the situation and decide the best approach. I prefer the sneaky approach, and let rip once close in.

i must have been more sucked into then i thought, i was sure i onyl did 45 hours or so, checked earlier it said 110 hours, im only lvl 25 and a half, but then i do take my time, oh and this is playthrough 1

Loads of fun with 2 or more players!

I've just started my second playthrough and have noticed that the weapons and other things that are dropped/in the vending machines seem to have improved significantly from the first playthrough which should make the game more interesting for the 2nd time through

The DLC aint bad either, Dr Ned & the zombies were pretty cool, the mad moxxi (max max style thunderdome) horde/firefight DLC is gonna take some doing though I think
