Asus TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi here

Review summary:

Positives

  • Good overclocking support
  • PCI-E 5 graphics and storage support
  • Plenty of cooling-related features
  • Great internal and rear I/O

Negatives

  • Expensive
  • No Thunderbolt 4
  • No USB 4 support
  • Only one x16 PCI-E 5.0 slot
  • Comparatively high VRM and M.2 temperatures

It’s better priced than it was at launch and the higher VRM temperatures won’t really be an issue with the 9800X3D so yeah. Personally, I’d have stuck with the ever popular Asrock X670E PG Lightning but hey.

Fair shout but will be £60 more than my choice and not sure of the benefit
Yeah and that’s a valid point. The Asrock does have some features that I consider worth the extra cost (Thunderbolt and better VRMs) but that’s the point of value and how it’s perceived.

I’m sure that the Asus will be fine.
