I am looking to replace my rev1 Gigabyte DS3 board. It currently has a Q6600 on it, 4 GB RAM and I am running dual boot Vista/XP. I know I am asking for issues as both are OEM versions, so it's likely a re-install/re-activate situation for me.
I need suggestions on a decent, sub 100 quid board. The DS3 has run into a wall o/c my q6600. It is stable at 3.2 when I run pi and orthos etc, but as soon as I run apps it crashes frequently. The highest app stable I can get is 2.88
As I am avid FSX'er, I want to go higher, and will prbably eventually look to going with a newer CPU too.
