Hi,

Anyone used Pass Toolkit for Windows phone to open .pkpass files?

I tried it, seems to open the file fine but really worried about getting there and it doesn't scan or something. I cant print for return flight as tickets aren't available until 24hrs before in case you were wondering why I don't just print so I'll be relying on the app to work.

Thanks

I've used Ryanairs app before (android) and also took screenshots of the boarding passes.I can't see why the latter wouldn't work, they just scan the barcode or qr code or whatever it is they use

The screenshot of the boarding pass scanned ok? If so then problem solved but still dont understand what the point in the files and apps are if you just need an image

Thanks

No, I showed the bar code via the app.....it only gets scanned by machine,i had screenshots as a backup.
I can't see why a screenshot won't work.
Have you googled it ? Others may have done it successfully

Buy a phone that isn't a Windows Phone.

Ok thanks, had a bit of a google today in work but not had time to look properly I'll have a proper read later

Used boarding pass on iPhone a few times with BA. I did have screenshots too and was a good job because once the self scan machine wasn’t working so I had to see someone at the desk who manually put stuff in.
