Soldato
Four detectives, living in four different eras, find the body of the same murder victim in London’s Whitechapel. They soon come to realise their investigations have them central to a mysterious conspiracy spanning over a 150 years.
yup, 'Tommy' could be in a film about paint drying and probably make it interesting. just something so 'watchable' about him.Stephen Graham = easy W
Agree with this. Recently watched boiling point and it would have been as dull as dishwater with another actor imo. On topic, looks good and not long until it drops.yup, 'Tommy' could be in a film about paint drying and probably make it interesting. just something so 'watchable' about him.
Not doing anything for me personally, finding it a bit bland after 2 and a half episodes. The 'woke' elements add nothing and feel tacked on - particularly the 1890's sub story (spotted it as a check Box exercise after 30 seconds). For me they've bitten off more than they can chew with the 4 timelines, think it would have worked better with 3 for TV.Been watching this on and off, about half-way through so far - feels very DARK inspired, overall I'd say OK with a decent premise, ticks a lot of "woke" boxes which adds nothing - but largely those elements aren't intrusive or feel too out of place and/or they made the effort to work it into the story - a few bits felt out of place though.
Enjoyed it for the most part, if you like Dark and time jumping shows this scratches that itch. Not 100% on the ending but it's a limited series so no sequel bating required.
Is it as complex as dark?
Sadly I had to give up on dark.
The difficult time lines + subs just meant I couldn't follow it.
1899 was fine though. I enjoyed that
It wasnt bad.
Yes they very self consiously ticked all the diversity boxes but that didnt impact the story that much - although did wonder if it had been made for the BBC or something.
Without wishing to spoil anything - the taxi driver at the end how and why ?

Blows my mind how much money Netflix wastes on poorly executing good ideas. To counter that
made by Netflix = high chance of it being forgettable poo
