Bog-standard "am I getting enough fps?" thread

I get 24fps average in Crysis benchmark (1680x1050 no AA) with my rig in sig.

Pertinent details:

CCC: vsync disabled / aa application control / 16af / highest quality mipmap / advanced CatAI

GPU clocks: 790 core / 990 mem

Vista64 DX10

Latest mobo BIOS, windows update, cat 8.9betas (8.54)

I've seen people with a single 4850 beat this, what's up???

So what should I be looking at? e8400 or summit?

I'd be more inclined to point the finger in the direction of the P5N-E SLI

Care to elaborate?
