It's to promote the Social Side of the wearable. Hoping that two friends will go 50/50 on a pair to use together.

essentially this

Razer are supporting this deal to be what it is, I dont want to deviate from what they have offered as they could just reject my claim after the period is over.

the inability to utilise the social interaction feature of the wearable was my main criticism that i had when i was using one for a few weeks but that would be solved by having a mate with one.
 
You'd need to pay me £50 first before I buy this. OCUK rolling in thehigh margin tat again, since these are essentially less than £25 each.

nope, cost wise they aren't. as mentioned in the thread that you haven't read, the deal is being supported by Razer meaning they are being sold at well below cost as a marketing exercise.
