I'm looking for a flexible hose with a 22mm screw connection at one end and 15mm at the other. I can't seem to find one anywhere, do these actually exist?

Basically one of these: http://www.screwfix.com/p/wras-hose-22mm-x-15mm-x-500mm-x-10mm/40166

with the same fittings on the end as this: http://www.screwfix.com/p/wras-hose-1-2in-x-1-2in-x-500mm-x-10mm/82014

If it helps any, it's a filling loop for a boiler. For some reason known only to the person that fitted it, there was a washing machine type hose connected to a stop valve on the cold water mains (22mm) which went to another valve (15mm) on the pipework going into the boiler.

The plastic insert in the screw fitting on the 15mm broke last night so I was looking for a replacement. Seems most filler loops are 15mm to 15mm.

Failing that, do you get a 22mm male to 15mm female reducer?

Sorry, just to confirm, what does the cold water come in as (as a pipe), 15mm or 22mm? Or does one of the valves change it up to 22mm?

I'd need to check this when I get home but I'm assuming at this stage that the cold water pipes are 22mm as the valve on the cold water feed appears to be just a stop valve.

I'm no tradesman but it's unlikely the stop valve is also a reducer so I would assume the incoming pipe is 22mm as well (otherwise you'd just stick a 15mm stop valve on and be rid of the reducer further along, though I've seen crazier configs).

Could you post a photo when you're home?

Sure, thanks.

Won't work, the end of your cold mains filling tee is 3/4 that's why you need to use the hose I quoted above.

For the sake of turning your water off, and undoing two nuts, you might as well fit the equal tee filling loop I quoted above. You don't have to use the new non return valve, as that would require draining the heating.

The reason I thought the mains end was 22mm was because it was a washing machine type hose that was connected to it and it looks to have a 22mm plastic "bolt" on it.

The hose I quoted above will screw straight onto your existing valve, and be water right as it has a rubber seal inside the nut, you just need a bit of pipe, nut & olive, and job done.
