OMG what a load of carp these Ferroli boilers are. I have been online trying to find a solution and Ferroli are getting slated big time...one stars all over the place.

Moved in to my new home end of April and it unfortunately had a Ferroli Optimax HE Plus 31C which has decided to start leaking from somewhere inside the main case.... just before Xmas!!! :(

Don't worry, I am not going to open the case as I know its against the law to do so. Hopefully got my boiler engineer coming out Monday. If it needs parts I wonder if I will be up and running for Christmas. I am scared to use the heating and hot water in case I make the leak any worse. :( Oh and top it off my wifes parents have just arrived for a 10 day stay! *rolls eyes*

Hi all, thanks very much for your comments. I have a trusted boiler engineer I use and he is good and cheap so me knowing nothing about boilers I would rather have him take a look. He is coming round between 12:00 and 13:00 today. Fingers crossed its a cheap, easy repair.... the in-laws will be pleased with some hot water/shower and heating. Good job it's a mild December! ;)

I will let you know how it goes.

2015 vaillant ecotec plus 825 ERP installed on Boxing day and could not be happier. 10 year extended warrantee. Oh how nice it is to have hot water and heating back! You don't appreciate it until you have to go without. :)

Mother in law was fine Fourstar. ;)
