Hey guys came home to find no boiler blue light on my worcester

there is power to the boiler, also the nest is linked fine the temp can be increased and decreased

The pressure is at 1.5/2. Bars which is usually enough

i have manually tried to fire the boiler up via both the nest button on the wall and jiggle the 2 x diverter valves
Also tried to turn off and the boiler on but nothing works so far there also is no error except… 203 system standby.

any suggestions on how to fix this?

Tried a reset? Usually a button labelled 'reset' or a point on the temp control, hold it down/leave in position for a few seconds (3-5) then see if it fires up.

Yes tried that when i hold that button down
Nothing seems to actually happen
Weird

Ah ok got it!! Thanks

held the button down for 8 seconds and boom. The boiler now fired up.

so whats the deal do u all reckon? Thats the first time ive had to reset the boiler
Could there be a sinister problem or do boilers need to be reset once in a while?

There is something that comes up now
Says max flashing and there is an icon that has something crossed out n on it
Getting a pic…

last year the wireless controller went wrong and lost half the display we couldnt manually or any other way turn the heating on... insurance plumbers came out and fitted a new one free, whilst here they found a leak on the boiler and had to order a part which meant we couldnt use it for a week.
next day we had a delivery from argos 3 little fan heaters brand new from the insurance for the inconvenience.... i rang them up to explain we had some heaters but they said we could keep them as too much trouble to return..hey ho .

So i managed to get the heating to work but the temp of the boiler is like going really high up to 99c and then coming down

its in a different ‘mode’
Now and the only way to turn the heating on is
Holding down the reset button

think its time to call a plumber at this stage
At least we got the heating to work
Temporarily thanks

Ok weird
No longer flashing? Wth
I mean im not complaning

maybe aftr the reset it takes time
RTFM i mean i couldnt be asked lol
