As title really. I remember when this game came out that it was reported to be VERY buggy, but I was wondering if it ever got patched enough to be playable?

Looking for something to play, bored of most games i've already got.

Anyone play it?

I don't think so, not properly. I know the developer is now working on three very ambitious titles at once, so you can bet they'll be gems of flawless perfection too :D

Their was a patch 2.1 that fixed a lot. But the cars just sucked it wasnt fun.

White Gold (boiling point 2) is almost done and released this year i think. Very nice lookin i just hope its polished this time.

Why bother sorting the bugs out? They are hilarious.

You haven't lived untill you've destroyed a police station with a single crossbow bolt!

There was another odd bug concerning the faction system. In the game "civillians" were included as a faction, so if you ****** them off bad enough, they would come after you. That's understandable, however, the game assigned random civillians with random weapons, which meant that sometimes, elderly women would throw grenades and stuff at you. I think one of the patches made it so that only the male civvies tried to kill you.

Never had any crash issues with the game originally. Performance used to be an issue in the second major town, but I put that down to my system specification at the time.

I'd give it a go with the most recent patch, as it's a fairly decent story line if you just concentrate on the main plot.

exactly, and the floating jaguar, it was stuff you just couldn't make up! :D

I tried it a couple of years ago with the 2.0 patch, only had 1gig RAM at the time which proved problematic. Also sometimes the traffic would disappear and never come back until I restarted the game.
