BOINC can't connect to client after reboot

Hi all, rebooted the PC and now BOINC can't connect to my client - tried more reboots and manual connection - still can't connect.

What's the simple obvious fix I can't remember????

In Boinc Manager go to 'Advanced' and click 'Select Computer'

Under 'Host Name' type 'localhost' or 127.0.0.1 and enter the password that is in the 'gui_rpc_auth.cfg' file

If that doesn't work a re-install may be necessary.

If you re-install make sure you back everything up just incase ;)

Thaks dunc - tried that - same problem - I've copied the BOINC folder to another drive and gonna have to re install:(

D/L and installed BPINC 5.4.11 and seems fixed wahay :cool:
