BOINC in Vista

Hi all
Just wanted to know how to get vista to let BOINC run at startup without blocking it(I know I should never realy turn it off) and me having to allow it to start manually,I only got a new machine last week and I'm new to vista so dont know the in's and out's of it yet.

Mine starts using a shortcut in the startup menu. It will warn you for (i think) 20 times, then it will ask you if you wish to continue receiving warnings anout boinc. Say no and never hear about it again.

Hmm, didn't realise this happens.... i've got it running as a scheduled task upon logon. no questions ever.

Oh Well, it's been a while and it still blocks BOINC at start up.
Can you please tell me how to set it up as a sceduled tast

When you install it, you can choose 'run as a service'...
Im not sure how you do it otherwise..

Turn off UAC.

If you do this then you will never hear of Boinc having problems again.

I installed it on mine and had no probs (because I had it off) and it took me hours to try and figure out why it kept getting blocked at startup on someone else's PC.

EDIT: Just to let you know, To turn off UAC you go to users in control panel and there is an option under that.

Just what I was looking for, I was getting fed up with always having to confirm running a program that I had just started.
