Installed 6.6.28 yesterday.
Now I just get "requesting new work" - not xxxxx seconds.
Tried GPU but kept saying run out of memory. my 8800GT only has 256MB - not enough
Loads of red writing informs me of no work or not for the application selected
but server status seems OK with work ready to send
I see the results pages aren't up to date either.
So, is it Berkeley or the latest BOINC to blame?

I've been getting quite a few "no work" replies in the last few days so assume it's Berkeley having a problem again

Tried running the GPU boinc on my GF8600 (works PC) and keeps saying something about a computation error on each one which is annoying.

the cuda application should work on cards with 256 meg ram. are you trying to run any optimised applications? have you selected to do GPU work on your preferences page (on the seti website?)

i haven't tried 6.6.28 myself, still using 6.6.20 which worked well when combined with the optimised applications on this page.
