Righto,, Bet you thought that this was going to full of interesting stats etc..

Well it should be..

In days gone by it used to be seti@home, how comes it didnt migrate to seti@home boinc?

Or just plain old Boinc,, shirley someone can do the biz,, Afterall how many ppl here contribute to Boinc?

:D

I agree totally - the weekly news really kept the team going, even if people hadn't had time to come visit the forums all week they were guaranteed to make a special effort at least once a week to check out the latest news

It's exactly the reason I started doing the F@H news, those fond memories of Slacky's weekly(ish) news posts :)

I should think that it wouldn't be too much effort for someone to keep track of at least the Team's standing in the most popular projects - maybe include current position/points/RAC and weekly change along with a heads-up of what other teams are nearby. Although this information is probably easily available already elsewhere there's nothing quite like bringing it all together into one thread where people can comment and congratulate each other.

if anyone could tell me what info needs to go in it and how I'd go about doing it I'm happy to post it every friday as long as it doesn't take too long to do. I guess it's have to be for just a few of the most popular projects rather than all that have OcUK teams though.

lucky stomper was always a bit of a laugh and the new joiners lists give you your one chance of glory if you are a small scale cruncher

Aye, would be good to have those stats back, certainly for the major projects at least. Unsure as to how much work's involved in doing it though: suppose it's a bit of a headache having to collect and collate all the stats and that there's quite a lot of dedication required to get it all sorted every week.

adwitworth used to do it (sometimes, when he remebered) so maybe he should STOP SLACKING AND GET ON WITH IT

lol :p. They were the days. Haven't actually seen Slackworth in this forum for aaaaages now; has he stopped DCing altogether?

did he ever start crunching?

my offer to do it (with some degree of regularity) still stands as long as it won't take more that an hour or so. Who did it before the slack one joined the team, was it Fixxer or someone else?
