Oh Canada!
In the steam game bomber crew, if my engineer dies, and I hire a noob engineer, and he doesn't know how to lean the fuel mixture, and I NEED to lean on the next flight because it is a long one, and I run out of fuel and crash repeatedly, what is the resolution?

Also, how do I get injured and dying crew members to the hospital bed on the plane? I don't get it. They keep dying. I lost my best engineer he bled out. Sad times.

I highly recommend this game

Thanks

Not played it much yet, just a couple of sorties.... but I click the crew member and then click on the bed, a yellow line should appear.
I also have a first aid kit equipped which i think has one use per mission (although i ran out of fuel and they all died so i don't know if it carries over)

If they're bleeding out, they need to be treated by a first aid kit.
Once they're mobile again, select them and press F - that'll send them to the bed to recover.
You can also use R for ammo reload and P for pilot.

As for the fuel, is there only that one mission available?

yes there is only one mission available.

Where is the first aid kit? Do I choose another crew member to get first aid, go to downed dude, treat downed dude, return medic dude to original crew position, return recently back from dead crew member to hospital bed?

You could always go as far as possible, clime to altitude and then bail out before splatting into the ground?

First aid kits are mounted on the equipment racks on the walls of the bomber. You can change whats equipped in them. But yeah, pretty much what you said. :D

But dont I fail the mission if I bail? Even if bombs were on target?

This game would benefit from escort fighters.

You unlock them once your wireless operator reaches a high enough level.

Can't remember the specific level, but you select him, press "Call Spitfires", they take off, fly to you and hang around for a few minutes attacking enemies before leaving.
