You're most certainly right. For Emma, Forever Ago is an amazing record. Looking forward to seeing him at Green Man later this year.

For the last month I've been listening to For Emma, Forever Ago almost constantly. It is simply a beautifully crafted album. I stumbled upon Bon Iver completely by accident, and I'm so glad I did.

A friend of mine thinks the album is incredibly depressing, where I think almost the complete opposite; it's very warm and spiritually uplifting. It's rare that I listen to an album as it was intended these days, but For Emma, Forever Ago certainly deserves just that - the album is a journey of emotion and coming to terms, ending in release with the final track Re:Stacks.

Seriously, if you're just reading this casually and you love your mellow acoustic, I cannot urge you enough to buy this album.

Blood bank (the song) is great. Easily my favourite on the EP. It's odd, Wolves on For Emma has really grown on me now.
