Details of the next instalment on the Bond franchise will be announced tomorrow (Thurs 4th Dec) in a broadcast live event from the 007 sound stage at Pinewood.

Can't wait to get the details myself...esp. who the villain will be.

Filming starts on the 8th.
 
I had such high hopes for the last outing and it was just horrible. People raved about it, but I'm yet to have anyone actually explain the plot to me. As soon as you actually walk back through what happened it made no sense whatsoever.

At the point Bond finds the planted casino chip in Shanghai the whole film fell apart.

Casino Royale is the benchmark that I doubt we will reach again...but I hope so because I like Craig as Bond.
 
Casino Royale is my favourite of the three Craig films, but I like both Skyfall (2nd) and QOS as well. I respect Mendes as a director, and hope he'll do an even better job than he did with Skyfall... yeah, the plot of which is riddled with holes, but its still a great watch.

As well as the villain, we shall also find out who will be the next Bond Girl... I wonder if they'll announce who will do the title track?.. I'm hoping Newman will be back for the score.

Ah, nooooo... PB was awful, maybe worse than Roger Moore :D
 
For me Craig and Connery are about equal favourites. Moore next. Then the rest were terrible.
 
Dalton was the best Bond.

Bond has lost its appeal to me and I wait till the latest one is on a film channel now.
 
I hope that Andrew Scott plays it nothing like Moriarty as, bucking the trend, I hated his Moriarty. I much preferred Elementary's Moriarty.
