Who else loves bone marrow?

Were just preparing a sunday roast and I started eating the bone marrow out of the lamb bone (then picking it out with a chop stick)

I guess its good for you but probably high in fat

I just found this from another forum... must be good for us (better than microwave meals and fast foods anyway!)

Bone marrow by many accounts is the first animal protein that ancient humans ate routinely. Prior to developing sophisticated hunting methods, humans were scavengers that scavenged the bones of dead prey killed by other animals.

Even after humans became the premiere hunters of the planet, bone marrow and other offal were preferentially eaten. Skeletal muscle meat was eaten last.

We've come a long way, and not necessarily in a good way

i love Bone marrow, i went to Barbacoa, last week witht eh missus and i had Fillet Steak and Bone Marrow

Can you buy bones from butchers then just oven them on 100 for a few hours and eat? What are the best bones and does it taste as good if they are cracked open?
