Bookmarking forum threads in Firefox

I bookmarked a few OCUK threads the other day as i'll be checking them regularly .I was wondering if its possible to bookmark threads so that each time you use the bookmark it takes you straight to the first new post since your last visit?

I dont know if i've explained that all that well but hopefully someone can decipher what i mean.

I think you would just tag on the end of the link &page=last.

EDIT: Sorry that will take you to the last/most recent post.... hmm most recent since your last vist. I'm not too sure.

I understand what you mean, but I wouldn't have thought so, because a bookmark would be only one page saved, every time a new page is added to a thread it would be a different address

your thread link + "&goto=newpost" at the end, should work.

Why not just go to UserCP and just click on the subscribed threads there on the button for 'Go to first new post'?

For here, yes. But on other forums I think it depends wether the admins are using "Friendly URLs" or not. And I think it varies depending on the forum type (vBulletin/SMF/phpBB etc).
