Boomerang rental upgrade

I have another question - I sent them a rental back today, is there anything I need to do in my account to mark the rental as sent back or will it just get taken off my list when it arrives with them?

It's been 4 days since I sent my last one back. They get it on Monday and they didn't send me another one from my pipeline yet. I've changed priority back to top 5, hopefully it'll get them to send me something else faster.
 
I cancelled mine til after Christmas now. I have a stack of bought games to play and CoD will be coming soon. I did get an email from the Managing Director though about my rant concerning their traffic light system. :D
 
I was with boomerang originally but i didn't like the taking it to post office lining up for 20min when boomerang are 10min away from my house seems a bit stupid and the pricing didn't look that good for the priority service.

Well I switched to lovefilm the highest package loaded up a few lists but they was sending not my top choices so i reduced the lists and i was being sent nothing so I complained and they gave me a free rental which was pointless because again i wasn't send what i wanted.

The way the story ends is another complaint and they tried saying my list was to short under 10 titles so i removed everything of the list and had just pre release items left. 5 days before the release of the pre release titles I made sure I had nothing being rented so I should get atleast 1 of the new titles guess what i didnt get any of them titles so went to cancel and the site showed i had to phone them which i did that was hard work they didnt cancel my account some indian women who could barely understand me and me her so i sent them an email which they finally cancelled.

There's a trick to cancelling with Lovefilm - you have to do it late at night (11pm or so) when the Indian call centre is in bed. The website then follows a cancellation wizard so you can do it online. :D

I know but I couldn't wait due to my next months bill was the next day and my credit card statement shows they always bill me at 12:01
 
Im still on the free trial with boomerang ( ends 31/10/10 )

In this time i've had

#1 choice - God of war 3.
#3 Choice - Dante's inferno.
#4 Choice - MAG for PS3.


Now this isn't cost me diddly squat so Im not going to moan and I might upgrade and try it for a mth as a "paying customer"


At the moment im enjoying it lol

I've now got my rental choice @ Top 3 or Top 5, before it was at the default balanced option.

So you had 0 items on your rental list except pre-releases and it didn't occur to you that it's possible that people reserved the games before you did and so got preference in a first come first served way? It's not like they buy an unlimited amount of copies to rent out.
Also you can cancel your account on their website under 'my account' there's a link 'cancel my account' it's really easy, I do it when I want a month break now and then.
I've honestly never had a negative experience with Lovefilm, guess I'm just really really lucky.
 
Hmm, they just sent me my 3rd choice out of 5. All the games in my pipeline were green, so why not send me the first choice? Am I missing something here?
 
As I mentioned previously, even though the items might be green, that just means low demand - it doesn't mean they have something in stock.

You clearly didn't read what I put I had no rentals for 5 days before they release the pre release games which lovefilm tend to move pre release to pipeline list 3-4 days before store release so 5+3=8 without anything and your trying to say people before me also I was on the highest package they offer so I should be priority anyway.

Yet again if you had read my post you would have seen i tried the online link and it said i had to call them another user here even posted you have to wait until 11 at night for the link to work.

This was my experience if you are having a great one then good for you.
 
I have had Mafia 2 on my list for ages, I sent back Halo Reach on Monday and nothing else has been sent out yet :(

An email to them usually sorts things out...
