I've been thinking about signing up to Boomerang for a while now, what are they like these days?

Never used them before but they do offer a 21 day free trail

I saw that on the website, they don't offer xbox one or ps4 games during the trial period though.

Used them before, can't say I had any issues but then I wasn't really getting many games off them.

Far better in the last 2 months than they were previously.

Excellent for PS4, 3DS and Vita games for me.

Boomerang have been terrible for Xbox One games. Priority subscription and been 27 days since a game has been sent. For Xbox 360 had no complaints though.

I was with them for 6 months for PS3, 3DS, Vita games and to be honest I found their service to be great, but their stock levels to be awful. So bad that it was pointless being with them so had to leave. I added 30+ games at one point (varying from 2 years old, to <6 months old) and they had about 3 of them in stock.

I have been pondering joining for a while.

I used to play a lot more games on console when love film used to offer the games service. Is it really hard to get Xbox one titles through then?

Might sign up for a trial to see what I think.

Yep, on the xbox one. I'm hoping Thief will also be sent out on release for my PS4!

Did they send within the free trial ? Says on the page no PS4 or Xbox one games during free trial. Can you opt out the free trial ?

You have to go into your account and activate the payment so you can rent next gen titles. You don't have to wait out the free trial.

Joined up to Boomerang again to give it another shot. Not really anything available on free trial as they don't offer any popular games, even ones released 6 months ago on PS3.
So trying out Tales of Xilia. Seems like a good JRPG, but what i'm realising is that I don't like JRPGs anymore...lol

Also tried Beyond Two Souls but that was awful. One of the worst games I've played in a long time. (and I liked Heavy Rain somewhat)

Seems they have improved their stock levels since I last joined for new games but still struggle to get any older titles in. So probably best just to skip the free trial so you can get the newer stuff as it seems to be what they are best for.
