Boot Camp partition - Should I install these drivers?

I know Boot Camp can be a bit funny about drivers sometimes.

I've got a need for a Windows machine, nothing fancy and the OS version isn't important. It's going to be local with no internet connection and effectively running headless.

I decided to repurpose my old 2009 Mac mini. I installed OS X from recovery and have set up Windows 7 Pro using Boot Camp. I know it's just out of support but that's not a problem.

Windows Update is offering me a couple of drivers.



Should I install these or just go with what I've got already?

Tricky one as the graphics HW used in Macs is always tweaked to work well with Mac OS. Never had a problem with graphics drivers myself, but then I always ran Windows as a VM on Macs.

I’d give them a try, but be ready to uninstall if the machine gets twitchy.
