Hey guys,
My old SSD died an unfortunate death last week (from what I can tell). The SSD was no longer detected by my motherboard (in signature), etc.
Bought a brand new Samsung 850 Evo this week and replaced the drive in my PC, this SSD is detected by the motherboard and I installed a brand new copy of windows perfectly fine after managing to boot off of a USB stick.
Changed my boot order back to SSD first and rebooted into a:
The Boot Configuration Data file doesn't contain valid information for an operating system.
File: \Boot\BCD
Error Code: 0xc0000098
I've tried using the USB drive to repair the installation to no avail.
I've also tried fixing the mbr and bcd etc using the Command Prompt on the USB, still no fix.
Could anyone shed any light on this issue?
Thanks!
