Hi guys. I've just finished upgrading mobo, cpu, ram, etc on my PC.
On bootup it goes straight to bios. I think it's struggling to see my SSD for some reason. It's in the list in the middle of screen, but there is no boot up option for these devices in boot order.

Pic in the link. Thanks in advance.

As you can see in the pic, my SSD and HDD are both being seen, I just can't find them in the boot order list?
Windows is on my Kingston SSD

Remove the one that is NOT your boot drive.

You don't want to format the wrong one.

Go through the settings and look for ACHI, you want this turned on.
Then reboot and make sure you have a boot USB with windows or a CD/DVD depends on the OS.
Yes im running the same windows install from my previous PC, ive done this in the past with no issues? Would a fresh install help?

I can see the boot priority list which shows hdd > cd > usb etc. Can you click on the hdd icon then select specific hard drives?
Also for testing, what happens if you only have the Kingston connected? Is your windows install from a different system?
No it doesnt show a list if i click those icons. Ive watched youtube videos of people changing boot disks on same mobo and there's are named HDDs and SSDs, but mine are blank.

So the issue was resolved by me formatting my windows drive and reinstalling. New one to me since I don't recall having to do this on previous upgrades. Thanks for the help guys xx
