Getting annoyed with it now. Done three clean installs, load everything on, loaded all the Asus drivers for my motherboard minus vga, drivers for my gfx card etc.
Done the 1803 windows update.
Everything works well and is stable till I restart and it won't boot, tried various command prompt things off YouTube. And nothing.
Tried repair this PC with the windows USB stick in and it can't find a solution.

I've done no hardware changes, just a clean install.

Error codes are 0xc000221
One was a 0xc00225 some file missing.
Any solutions before I sledge hammer it and buy a Xbox 1x

Are you sure that it is booting from the right hard drive?

Check in bios and remove all other bootable devices to be sure.

As above, do you have more than drive installed? Check the BIOS isn't trying to boot your non-OS drive...

It's usually best to install the OS with all other drives disconnected anyway, to avoid boot manager confusion.

Yeah w10 on ssd. I deleted all the partitions and formatted the hdd didn't disconnect it though. Can I format both from the w10 setup USB?

Disconnected it went into bios, changed it to windows boot manager in my ssd. Boot it first time. Plugged hdd in, booted again no problems. All seems happy.
Cheers for the help everyone
