boot error win 7

turned on my pc this afternoon and was confronted with this message
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert you Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."
3. Click "Repair your Computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact you system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

Status: OxcOOOOOOf

running win 7 64 on a crucial 128 ssd any body have any ideas i have just reinstalled windows but cant find much relating to this on line.
the only thing i did before turning it of last night was update my routers firmware..

you havent by any chance altered the boot sequence of your HDD in your bios ?
Make sure your SSD is the first drive to boot if thats the drive with the os on.

Boot off the Windows 7 DVD.
Goto Repair and then command prompt.

Run the following:

bootrec /RebuildBCD

This will rebuild the boot record and should hopfuly get you working again ;)
