Boot failure

Right

never had any probs yet so im hoping its not too serious.

Basically the damn thing won't post every other attempt, fans spin, hdd spins but no noise from mobo.

Im at a loss as to what could be wrong here.

Sounds like either the PSU is weak or the motherboard has a cold boot problem which a BIOS update might solve.

sata 300gig seagate
X2 3800 @ stock w Zalmann Aeroflower cooler
SLi 7800GTs
2GIG crucial ballistix
hiper type r 580w

thot i had missed something, its my mates rig, first bit of trouble he's had like i say.... cheers
