boot from cd

hi,
ive recentlytried overclocking my processor, however from what id assume anyway, due to the change in processor speeds, windows doesnt seem to like booting up, and for some reason my pioneer wont boot up into setup from the dvd, an anyone shed any light on this by any chance? I have made sure settings in bios are all set for boot from dvd first but still no luck

do you have a 'boot menu' key that you can press (not the bios key) on startup, to force it to use cd

Sometimes you are required to hit a key to boot from CD... does this not happen?

What motherboard is it?
