Hi guys,
I have some issues with the beast.
Ready for my LAN next week i have reloaded all of my PC's in prep, last to do was mine, Whilst i was downloading all of the drivers from the Asus website, i decided to update my BIOS on my first edition P8P67 Pro, (i will get round to sending it back for a swap out)
At this point my PC was all OK, and running sweet as a nut,
P8P67 Pro
2600k
60gb Vertex 2 (OS)
300gb Vel Rap
2x 1500GB WD Greens
I updated my BIOS from the BIOS Itself... my PC didn't boot, did some playing around, set SATA to IDE and not AHCI and it booted up, albeit slower, but i think that was down to the other HDDs being indexed.
When i put things back to AHCI it BSODs on loading windows.
SO, Do i want to get AHCI working or will IDE be just fine, i do not have a RAID array.
(i am not sure if i had it on AHCI or IDE prior to updating the BIOS)
Thanks All
