Boot issue

Afternoon all, first post for quite some time and I’m seriously out of whack with solving issues atm. Head hasn’t been in PC since probably my last post so need some help.

just browsing on pc before it locked and rebooted. On reboot the bios screen pops up before then going to a black screen with monitor staying on. Pressing keys to enter bios or do anything don’t change what’s on screen.

Any ideas to get my brain working again.

Simple stuff 1st, CMOS reset, Remove RAM and try with 1 stick, Any Debug lights on the MOBO?

Sounds like it lost the disk, you need to be pressing F2 or Del as you turn it on, not waiting for the black screen you are seeing.
