Finished building my new PC Friday, everything seems to be running ok.
But I’m noticing when I turn it off at the mains after shut down, it takes longer to boot and then boots straight into the bios menu then I exit Bios then it boots into windows .
once I’ve done that if I restart it or shut down then turn back on it goes straight to windows no problem and fast.
Just wondering have i missed somthing or done something wrong for it to do that.
Also other thing is when I try to get into bios from restarting or shut down I can’t no matter how much I press F2 or delete. Don’t if it’s linked?

Just add When I change things in the bios as well when I do shut down and switch off at mains system date and time resets after I changed it and i enabled D.O.C.P but gets disabled again. It’s Like nothing is saving to bios if I turn off at mains.

Easy solution don't turn it off at the mains ;), definitely sounds like the bios keeps reseting after power loss could be a feature, some boards do this if overclock is unstable and system crashes, turning off at the mains might be triggering this, Bios battery could be duff unlikely since you say new build.
