boot loop

i,m runing windows xp sp3 . starts to boot but does make the welcome screen ,just reboots again.

Ok, what have you tried so far? I take you can get into BIOS to check settings in there. The next step is to attempt to get into safe Mode and see if there is anything to fix there. Actually, once you can get to Safe Mode it often will reboot normally.

Oh, and care to say what specification your machine is as this can be quite helpful.
