Boot Manager???

Is there such a thing as a boot manager???

I have ubuntu, xp pro and vista insalled on my laptop but i have to go through the linux selection at the start then select xp to boot i was looking something so i can select my default operating system???

Your current boot manager is called grub. You can set it up so that Windows is the default and you can also set the number of seconds it waits before booting the default.

As already said, just edit grub to do what you want it to do.

sudo vi /boot/grub/menu.lst
