I installed a second IDE drive on my PC and installed XP on it to test if the disc was working before installing XP on my main. I then reformatted that disc thorough windows on the main hdd, but now when i boot up I have the option to select both operating systems. I even removed the HDD and it still gave me the selection, any idea how to remove it?

Open msconfig from the run prompt, then the boot.ini tab. Click the "Check All Boot Paths" option, and delete the offending one.

Should do the trick
