Boot Problem

Hello again,

I've recently put together the spec below, which has been running fine for 4 days. However I rebooted last tonight as a voice conversation screwed up and kept repeating itself, and when it had finished with the windows loading bar it wouldn't show the welcome screen.

I know the screens there as i've tabbed to the shutdown button, but it just will not show.

I am able to get into safe-mode fine, and later on tonight (at work atm) will uninstall and reinstall the Catalyst drivers. If that doesn't work i'll back up my data and try a fresh install.

Anyone else had this problem before, or know what it may be?

I had the problem on a HP laptop. Tried the usaul safe mode, system restore, last know good config etc. I couldnt be bothered with it, just reformatted in the end (not the best solution but there was nothing on this lappy)

Ok, so.. uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers fixed the problem. Just hope it doesnt happen again or else I will tell ATI where to stick it.
