EDIT: checked the digi POSt display on MB and it says that everything is ok in terms of posting.
Having a huge headache from my PC today. Turned the PC on and the boot stopped after about 5 secs and the PC restarted. After this the PC sounded like it booted but there was no signal to the monitor. Played around with cables etc and nothing worked.
After this I took the gfx card to a neighbours to try there. Still no image so it looked like the gfx card was borked, no biggies as its got a 2year warranty. My neighbour lent me a 8600 so that i could at least use my PC. Plugged the new gfx in and the same problem is there. What could be the problem with the dam machine to cause these problems? There is power to the machine or at least it looks that way.
Specs: q5500, abit ip-35 pro, 8gb kingston ram, ati 5850, SB x-fi, 3 drives.
