Hi guys ....
Hopefully someone might be able to help with this predicament that Im having with this latest build..
Ryzen 7 3700x
MSI Tomahawk Max B450
32gb Crucial Ballistix Sport 3200mhz
Corsair TX650w psu
Samsung Evo 500gb ssd
Gigabyte Aorus 5700xt 8gb
Put the machine together and turned on power button..
Everything lit up and no post error lights on the board.
However no display at all on boot.
Tried adding the other psu 8 pin cable to the graphic card, so there are now 2 8 pin plugs from the 2 outputs on the psu going to the gpu..
Still nothing..
Tried my old RX480 in the new build and posted first time, bios etc... It actually displayed something..
Should add that the RX480 only uses 1 8 pin connection.
Tried the 5700xt in my old machine and again used 2 leads from the psu with gpu, tried booting and again no display..
Replaced it with the RX480 and again it booted..
Called OCUK tech and guy said that it sounds like a fault with psu not pumping out enough power, then I overheard someone say it might be the gpu faulty..
Anyone have any ideas apart from taking it back to get it checked out.. Thanks
