Boot problems

Hello people, well just got my parts today, put them alltogether (took me 4/5 hrs) and now when I press the power button all the fans start spinning, the onboard LED button is green, cpu DVD drive opens and closes, but nothing is on the monitor :S

Also i think the led on the front of the pc DOESNT light up even thought ive connected the hdd led, pwr switch and reset switch.

Unplug everything except the PSU & power button (no drives, LEDs) & take the memory out, just leaving the graphics card in. Check the cmos jumper is correct (not set to clear settings) & take the battery out for good measure. Fire it up, should get some beeps cos of memory errors, if not, you have nailed it to cpu/mobo/graphics/psu then time to substitute those somehow somewhere one at a time
 
just got the same board as you and i think i found the issue. I couldnt get it to post no matter what, but I did have some very old 5300 ram lying around. managed to boot into the bios with that, set the ram timings to manual, select 800mhz and it boots with 4gb now.
