Installed RHEL on a Proliant C7000 with two 70gb LUNs provisioned on an EVA connected via a Fibre connection.

Installation was successful, the Swap, file system and Grub were installed.

The HP/Compaq E200i Smart Array was disabled in the Bios, the Array still appeared in the Boot order, so it was moved to the bottom of the boot priority.

Upon starting the Proliant it attempts to Boot from Hard Drive C: and nothing happens.

Any Ideas?

Where is the MBR located? If it's looking for anything with Windows-like drive naming it would seem that Grub is not where you think it is.

Since it's RHEL, why not call up RH and ask a tech? You pay the big bucks for it so you might as well use it. :)

What kind of HBA? Not that it makes much difference.

EDIT: LOL, need to read the OP properly.

What model of HBA? Is the kernel module included in RHEL, or did you have to install it?
