boot times

hi,
i am having trouble with boot times; sometimes windows boots in seconds, others it take 5 mins.
Also sometimes it just restarts after along time on the windows boot screen.

Any ideas?

Have you defragged your drive recently?

Also, try pruning your services. This site tells you which services are safe to disable. Type Msconfig in run and see what programs Windows is loading, stop any you don't need.

nah that makes no dif. it just seems to hang on the blue bar when it boots , its really odd :S
