Hi,
Iv been running my system now since September 2006, below is a list of spec:
EVGA 7950 GX2 (1gb Memory)
E6400
Gigabyte DQ6 Mobo
2GB Corsair Ram
2 x 250Gb 16mb HDD
Tagan TG800 800W PSU
The problems i have been having are that, sometimes when attempting to power up, the computer just beeps, cycles the fans once and then stops, but continues to re-attempt to boot up. Once running its fine, but the cpu fan doesnt work at times, so I have ordered another one.
Second problem is CPU usage, I am constantly getting CPU fluctuations with average usage at 40% upwards to about 80% but never never an idle. PF usage is at 850mb average.
These problems have only just recently started. Any ideas on what is needed to resolve them. It is getting annoying, not only with booting, but with general opperation when things freeze. IM considering buying Vista but dont want to if I cant get it to opperate stable under XP
