Recently I have installed Win8 (october) which as far as I know should make things quicker??
I also realised my RAM wasn't running at full speed, so with help from here went into the BIOS to change the multiplier (December).
Since one of these (I'm pretty sure the latter) it is taking a lot longer to boot up. Before it was around 15-20 secs to get to the log in screen, now it takes about a minute. Could either of these be the problem?
