Since my built on monday I'd been having issues with my CPU fan being on 100%; with help from some guys on these very forums I managed to sort that out but to do that I opened my case to check which fans were plugged into where.

However, now when I boot up the system I get a message at POST telling me "case has been opened: press any key to continue" So in order to continue booting I have to press a button. This is quite irritating due to the fact it means I have to wait for the message to come up before I can leave the room to do something whilst it boots. Any ideas how to get rid of this?

Cheers

Ummm.

I am trying to work out how a motherboard knows that a case panel has been opened? is the motherboard from a Dell or other pre-built pc?

is it the system in your sig?

Yeah its the system in my sig, its the MSI board. Give me two mins and I'll post a photo of the screen to make life easier :)
