Hi, Ive just built a PC from a kit that a friend left me. This was a first for me but it all seems to be fine except for the Boot Up. When I switch on it goes through this very long process that brings up the Asus Bio window first which lasts between 5 and 10 minutes before brining up Windows. Any idea on how I can stop or at least minimise the time that the Asus Bios screen comes up.

Welcome to the forums. You should really give more details when seeking assistance, things like full hardware spec, what operating system, was is a fresh install? etc.

What's on the screen while it's doing this? It's probably checking for something (e.g. doing a disk check) or it's waiting for user input from your keyboard. Try hitting escape repeatedly and it may skip some.
