Trying to mount the ISO for HCI Memtest Deluxe onto a usb stick, I've tried a 32gb USB3.0 and a 16gb USB2.0 drive, neither will boot straight into memtest and I'm not sure why as they're showing up as bootable devices, I've also tried in both my USB2 & 3 ports, still same result. I'm using Rufus to mount the ISO and it says it has mounted but obviously something is wrong due to no boot and it will usually throw up "NTLDR missing" on the times it actually tries to boot and doesn't boot into my windows

I'm at a loss I've even tried using imageusbtool and again like Rufus it shows as completing but still doesn't work

In windows the drives will show up as CDRom and I can look inside and it seems like everything is mounted but obviously it can't be because it don't work.... Any help ?

Have you changed the boot order in the bios to make the usb drive the first drive to boot from? Otherwise it will just boot into windows.
Either go into bios and manual select to boot from USB OR

fit F10/F2 to go to the boot order screen instead of BIOS & choose USB

Already tried both methods, even unplugged my main boot drive to ensure it didn't boot into that, when I use F11 to select boot both USB show as bootable options but clicking on them results in nothing happening

How old is the motherboard? I've seen some older computers completely refuse to boot from USB 3.0 sticks, but happily boot from a USB 2.0 stick with the same files on it using the same preparation.

It's 2 weeks old, MSI X570 Tomahawk

And then Chuck as many Isos as you like onto the usb stick

Will give this a try tonight, if it doesn't work then I'm wondering if maybe the actual ISO is corrupt and is missing something ?

Nevermind, I've finally got it working, the issue was trying to select UEFI version but scrolling down the list there's a non uefi option for the drive that allows it to boot
