Hi,

I'm trying to get bootcamp installed and working on my MBP but having no end of problems. I've managed to finally get the software to partition the drive but now it won't boot properly from the DVD I have. I've tested this fine in a 2nd laptop and no problems. Anyone seen this before?

Update:

I managed to get it to boot by creating a bootable USB from the ISO file (It's all legal. I have an MSDN account). But it's booting in EFI mode and that doesn't seem to be supported my apple..

use boot camp to remove the partition and start again with the cd.

you can force boot it from the cd by holding down C on startup.

I've heard a few people moan about cds not booting correctly with bootcamp, but I've stopped using bootcamp years ago, so I've not experienced it myself.

Firmware lock can cause boot issues and its always worth doing an update on the mac first :)
