Bootcamp Vista x64 with VMWare?

I've made a bootcamp partition with Vista x64 Ultimate on it, updated the Bootcamp utility and patched Vista. It all works (and is very quick).

I also have VMWare Fusion installed. I appreciate that if I use it to run the Vista bootcamp partition then performance will be well down on running it natively, but will it work? Does VMWare Fusion support Vista x64? I don't want to break the bootcamped Vista.

Should run at near native speeds, only milliseconds of difference.

Should support Vista x64 fine.

Ahh, but have you installed it with VMWare or is it a bootcamp partition that VMWare is reading?

I actually installed it via VMWare. I haven't touched BootCamp yet.

Ahh, that's the difference. It didn't play nicely in Fusion once I told it to load the bootcamped partition. I think I'm going to keep it for bootcamp only as I have a small XP Fusion VM for work and stuff like that.

Anyway Bod, how's you and the family? It's been far too long.
